Viva Mexico!

Off to Mexico!

Now that the Arizona heat has hit triple digits, in the spirit of spring break I dipped out to Mexico for some beach time. I’ve spent some time in Tulum, and I’m a big fan of Cabo San Lucas, but I’m excited to be visiting a new be achy enclave that I have yet to experience: Playa del Carmen.

Although my time in Bali was beautiful and fun, it was the type of vacation that left me feeling, at the end, like I needed a vacation. While I was there, I was working non-stop the entire time filming my new show on The Indonesia Channel, Yoga Bliss, and hosting a yoga retreat with Teeki.  Ever since I returned to Arizona, I’ve been playing an exhausting game of catch up, so I’m ready relax and enjoy my little holiday in Mexico.

I’m so excited to practice yoga on the beach with the soothing sound of the waves crashing around me. Something about white sand and perfect aqua, turquoise and blue water really gets me in the mood to relax and enjoy the view.

Besides  some much needed downtime I’m the beach, I’m excited to experience some of the cenotes. A cenote is a large sinkhole that collapses to reveal the ground water underneath. Long story short, think real-life Ferngully world that you can swim and play in. Remember that movie? I was obsessed with it as a kid. Scratch that. I’m still obsessed with it.

’ll be sure to keep you posted on what I’m up to, but for now, I’m off to find the nearest margarita…and maybe a sombrero for good measure.
